The Norwegian runners Sindre Buraas and Sondre Norstad Moen are some of the top runners of Norway. But even at their very best, they cannot dream about competing with the runners from Eldoret in Kenya.
The area around Eldoret seems to be ideal for running, and nine of the worlds ten best marathon runners come from here. But what is it that makes this area so special? No one knows, but still the young Norwegians come here four times each year for three weeks of intense training, hoping to improve.
